eighteen summers. that’s it.
01. Project Overview
Eighteen Summers is an independent editorial project exploring creativity, parenthood, and the limited seasons we have with our children.
What began as a self-initiated creative experiment evolved into a fully realized publication and brand ecosystem. I developed the concept from the ground up, including brand strategy, identity, editorial direction, publication design, contributor experience, photography direction, digital presence, and launch.
The project became an opportunity to explore what happens when editorial design, storytelling, art direction, and brand strategy are treated as one interconnected system.
02. insight
Childhood feels endless while you’re inside it, but parenting has a surprisingly finite timeline.
Eighteen Summers was built around that tension: creating a publication that encourages parents to make something, notice something, go somewhere, or experience something together while they still can.
This foundation positioned the brand for future consulting opportunities, partnerships, and potential product expansion, providing a scalable creative framework that supports long-term growth.
